All right, I’m gonna do a video here talking about what I believe about the King James Bible in terms of is it the only perfect Word of God. What about other foreign language translations things like that? I’ve talked about that in other videos but this one’s going to be a little bit more definitive about what I believe.

Just to start at the very beginning okay Old Testament is written in Hebrew I don’t think anybody’s gonna
argue with that God chose one language for the Old Testament okay New Testament
is written in Greek and there’s there’s this thing an old Aramaic and things they were speaking Aramaic some of it was written in Aramaic and think we
don’t have the original autographs you know you know I don’t really see a whole lot of proof for all that stuff you know
just some of that stuff I don’t waste time with New Testament is written in Greek all right without getting into all
the little detailed arguments back and forth on you know whatever else since that time there are basically two
Greek Texts
different streams so to speak of these Greek New Testament manuscripts there is
the one that came from the philosophers in Alexandria Egypt the Nestle’s text this is the 27th edition 28th edition is
right here okay 28 27 multiple editions
of it this is made under the supervision of the Vatican I showed that in other studies clearly plainly in the preface
made under the super super vision of the Vatican right over here on this side we
have the Textus Receptus this one was carried down through the centuries by the Greek Orthodox Church not Bible
believing Christians but the Greek Orthodox Church here’s the Textus Receptus just the New Testament and here
is the Trinitarian Bible Society Greek Textus Receptus and on the back the
master attic Hebrew Old Testament alright and there’s one other technical
there’s actually a lot of other texts but we’ll just say one other basic kind of text and that is the the majority
text by Hodges and farce dad right there that’s basically a combining of the two of these
right so we’re not really gonna be talking much about this because it’s just a kind of a ecumenical if you will
great text this one here the Nestle’s text is based on less than 1% of extent
Greek manuscripts in other words manuscripts that are in museums that are in you know Bible colleges whatever else
wherever they’re at papyrus fragments curtis’s you know unseals
all the different things not gonna get into all the technical stuff they’re less than 1% lines up here with the
Nestle’s texts over 99% here with the received text obviously this side over
here one of the preserve of the Bible this side over here really didn’t care about preserving the Bible they both
have their traditions that are unscriptural certainly but at least the Greek Orthodox said we want to preserve
this these manuscripts these line of you know original type ratings now we don’t
have the original autographs I’m not saying that we do but hopefully you see what I’m saying so the issue comes up is
the King James Bible perfectly in line with the received text all right is it a
perfect translation word-for-word translation of the Greek text the answer to that is no you can’t translate
perfectly from here into English the languages are different so what did you
have to do well if you look at your King James Bible there are places where you’ll see words and italics that is a
place where they said the translators would put it into italics saying well we don’t see this in the Textus Receptus
but we have to put it in there to make the translation make sense if you studied more than one language you’re
gonna find that that word orders and sentence structures and everything else are different from one language to
another all right if you say well then how do we know that the King James Bible was translated correctly and you know
accurate and whatever else well because the King James translators did something that I don’t believe anybody else has
ever done and that is they didn’t just say Textus Receptus only what they did
is they said we’re going to use the great Textus Receptus I can remember
if it was Stephanus or Baeza visa that they used you just look that up real
quick here but they I think it’s right in the preface to this thing new okay
the additions of visa theodore beza particularly that of 1598 and i asked
two editions of stevens where the chief source is used for the english authorized version of 1611 so they
weren’t using erasmus as text it was a further down the line some of the men that that were publishing editions of
the the received text of texas stirs up this but the King James translators also

used old foreign language translations alright I know that they had the I think
some of the romance trends or the romance translation of the Waldensian people the Romance language is kind of a
Latin blending into Italian if I remember correctly they had that they
had a bunch of the other ones one of which was this one here this is a parallel Bible high like a shrift a
Luther and the King James Bible and here you have the King James Bible here King
James scriptures here Luther’s high like to shrift Holy Scriptures basically is what that means holy scriptures here
King James Bible there so the translators of the King James Bible had that as well plus they had things like
Tyndale’s and the Geneva’s and the bishops Bible and things they had those
Bibles in the line of this received text family and you say well then they ignore
this over here no they didn’t because here we have the jesuit created and I’m
not joking or being weird or whatever else the Jesuits came out with their English translation in the Reims New
Testament in 1582 and then the other three volumes you can see the red spine
right up here other three volumes of the Old Testament as the Dewey Old Testament
so you had the douay-rheims bible and it was released in 1610 one year before the
King James Bible so they knew about it they actually referred to in things and it’s funny because a lot
of the new versions that are out there they’ll say well the King James translators did not have access to our new modern you know Nestle’s type text
readings they didn’t have access to it and yet you look at this Bible 1582 long
before the King James Bible came out in 1611 and it has a lot of those same new
version updated readings right in here so they tell you well the King James
translators it was a good translation but they didn’t have access they’re lying to you of course they had access
to everything that the new version translators have except for maybe some papyrus fragments or whatever else which
they really didn’t need because they have the whole text of scripture available to them in 1604 – 1611 when
this was written all right the King James translators there were 54 total throughout the years
some died of you know seven years in the making you know some died some moved on other projects and whatever else so
you’ll all see here the number forty-seven that’s what it was towards the end there forty-seven scholars working on the King James Bible at
Cambridge Oxford and West Westminster universities over there and they had
committees and things and basically every book every word of the King James Bible had to pass seven tests before it
was accepted as scripture accepted you know before the translation was accepted and so was it it was unlike anything
else that had ever been done this King James Bible and that still wouldn’t really mean anything if it didn’t go on
to produce fruit but this book went on to produce the greatest fruit in the entire of the world and in the entire
history of the world excuse me in the entire history of the world the King James Bible is unparalleled no other book has been printed as much
as this King James Bible no other book has been taken into as many countries and preached from and this thing has
spiritual power all right nobody can question that I mean you can but there’s no point it says you know lunacy to try
to question that I mean the King James Bible definitely has God’s seal of approval on it so here’s the point
bringing up to speed to this make this point is it the only perfect Word of God it’s
got god’s seal of approval on it it’s been made with the right translation you know formula and and everything else
it’s looked at all the different you know evidence and everything is it the only perfect Word of God okay here’s
where things get tricky because you can get into this whole thing and they start to play little word games and whatever
else and and I’ll just give you you know my opinions on this thing and what I’ve
learned over the years now the King James Bible I believe is God’s perfect
standard and you can say well then should we have translations of it are
the translations as good as you know the actual standard here the gold standard
of the King James Bible well you got to
look at things all right as a for instance this high like a shrift here that I have here in my hands this high
like a fifth you say well it’s it’s from the same kind of Receptus line over here it’s it’s you know this way it’s not
over this way what’s the new version lying over here well that’s correct for
the most part but Martin Luther was one man not 54 scholars under the authorized
protection of the King the authorized version is what it was originally known as and then later the King James Version
you don’t have the King protecting Martin Luther he’s basically on the run
now he was protected I will say you know in terms of he was protected by some of the Dukes I believe over there in
Germany so he wasn’t able to do you know a fairly decent job but he still you
have one man working on this monumental task and I don’t believe if that was God’s will I mean he did what he did and
and you know I think it was a good thing the thing of Luther’s translation but to
have the authority to translate the Scriptures as one man and really not
have a committee type of a thing there mhmmm a little bit problematic and I’ll
show you one here you say well this is just as good as the King James Bible no it isn’t here in
Isaiah chapter 14 verse 12 it’s talking
about Lucifer you know the King James Bible says Lucifer here in the hanukkah shrift that says douche owner Morgan
Stern schöner Morgenstern means bright
morning star I’m correcting that correct me if I’m wrong please to the brother
from Germany and anybody else from Germany but Shawn or Morgan Morgan Stern that’s not a correct translation that’s
what the NIV has you know the bright morning star is a name for Jesus Christ back in the book of Revelation chapter
22 so you say well then we got to throw the whole thing out no but you have to
compare it with the standard all right just back in the old you know in the in
the New Testament they would have tried to you know translate something they would you know obviously if you go to
somebody in another country and you start telling what God’s Word says you can’t just read you just can’t speak
Greek to them if you’re in Spain and you’re speaking you know the Spanish language to them and then you just fire
off a bunch of Greek scriptures they’re gonna say okay what does that mean well you have to obviously have to translate
what the scriptures say into their own native tongue and it you know of course you can go to Acts chapter 2 where you
have the day of Pentecost and God is you know speaking through them they’re speaking in other tongues and it’s
languages they’re in the in the context so why didn’t God just say you know hey
you need to learn Greek if you want to know my word no he allowed them to go
and speak in other tongues other languages now it would be kind of weird for the Lord to say okay you have to
have English in English only as you know my perfect word only in the English
language that’s why I’ve said for many years you know for the english-speaking people this is God’s perfect standard
right here what if you don’t speak English all right what do you do well
is it the standard though see this is where the some of the stuff gets you
know kind of tricky yes I do believe that this is the standard I believe that this is the standard by which all other
translations are to be judged all right 54 men here great scholars work you know
working for the Lord here and one man Martin Luther which had plenty of
theological problems but what do you do do you throw out his whole translation because he messed up there in Isaiah 14
verse 12 and there’s some other errors I’ve heard of in the Holika shrift what do you do well you go back to the
standard and you say okay the word is Lucifer in Isaiah chapter 14 verse 12 so you put Lucifer there as the text cross
out Morgan Morningstar and you say Lucifer whatever the German word for
Lucifer is you say well we don’t have a word for Lucifer that’s maybe why German you know Martin Luther just put you know
Morningstar essentially a bright morning star no you don’t do that if you don’t
have a word for something that’s there in the Old Testament or whatever else and by the way just it just to say this
the word star in Hebrew is Co cab all right I don’t save much of that stuff
very much but just to prove a point here and no manuscript out there has the word Co cab in it and Isaiah 14:12 so to put
in the word star I don’t know where Luther got that from but he certainly didn’t get it from the Hebrew text so
that’s kind of weird why he would have put in star bright morning star that’s what the new versions do covering up the
fact that it’s you know I mean think about the text of the whole thing bright morning star gets kicked out of heaven
it’s brought down to hell why because he would be like the most high bright
morning stars Jesus Christ that’s a really really bad translation error extremely bad and it’s it’s not just a
little slip of the pen or something here I mean stars not even in the Hebrew text so why would you put bright morning star
and he was if its head star or something in the Hebrew text he’d still look and say wait a second here this doesn’t make
sense it couldn’t be bright morning star because Jesus’s title in Revelation chapter 22
so I can’t judge exactly what why Luther
did that Martin Luther did that but it was wrong so what do you do you bring it
up to the standard of the Word of God if you don’t have a word Lucifer and you know an exact equivalent in German well
then you just put the word Lucifer in there all right it’s called a transliteration actually you can you
know say it that way a transliteration is where you say well I don’t have the word you know a word for this Greek word
or whatever so I’m just gonna take that Greek word and stick it right into the English text all right that’s what you
do so you know trying to think of what
else I need to say on this whole thing here so my standard is you know what you do
if you’re a Christian and you’re in some country out there whatever else and you say well I you know I can read the King
James Bible I can understand the King James Bible and I feel called to witness to family and friends or if you’re a man
you know I feel called to preach the Word of God okay find a Bible that is
from this family over here the received text the King James type translation
that family over there again a lot of the translations that are out there
predate the King James Bible and again you have to understand the refining
process I don’t call William Tyndale’s translation the inspired perfect Word of
William Tyndale
God it was it led up to the King James translation and I think it’s 95% similar
but God you know didn’t say okay I’m
gonna use Tyndale and Tyndale alone and forget it all the rest of these guys know God didn’t do that he refined his
word in English until it got to the King James Bible and then they had it right and you know people could say well could
you be saved out of a Geneva Bible or could it be okay to use the gene that’s not really an argument because we have
the King James Bible so why to go back behind the King James Bible
doesn’t really make any sense go with the King James Bible if you speak English if you speak another language
out there another another tongue then what you do is you look for I’m French
I’m gonna look at the olivet and you look in through there and you go there’s some problems here and there’s some
problems there and problems there and and whatever doesn’t really match the King James Bible in those areas so is
there another one out there that’s equivalent you know to the King James Bible in my language no okay then you
take that Bible and you start to write it you know right out verses a scripture if you’re gonna write your own tract or
something then you take the Bible or you know the King James Bible and you take
that verse and you write it into your language as close as you can get it to this that’s what you do and you know I
knew a guy in the Faroe Islands and shorter hootch guard I think his name
was or something and we had kind of a falling out he went post-trib or whatever and he was kind of charismatic
Pentecostal spoke in tongues and the whole deal so there were some issues there but he was doing the right thing
in terms of his Bible translation he took a King James Bible and he said I’m going to translate this into the you
know language of my people the tongue of my native homeland here the foot row islands so I think that’s the right
thing to do but if I was a german-speaking Christian I know that there’s another one here to show you this one here we have the doctor mm and
I’ve heard that this is a pretty good one I wish I could speak the German language but it’s just there’s so many other things to do I guess cannot learn
the language right now but it does not say it says son son dare Morgan wrote
son of the Morgan morning not sure Morgan root would it be would be there
do Glenn Stern son dare Morgan root so
it’s not what Luther has here schöner Morgenstern you know he doesn’t have
it’s not the Morningstar they’re like Luther has but it’s it’s different but I don’t think it’s still not really seeing Lucifer
there but again you know you go through and you say all right well you know does
it line up with the King James Bible and you say well but it’s just as good this is just how can you prove that that that
the King James Bible is correct and this one’s bad well look at the fruit you see
do you think God really wants his word being translated by only one man you know it’s a little bit sketchy right you

know in certainly and in the time that they lived and whatever else they’re being hunted down and everything I
understand what Luther did and what Tyndale did and some of these other men and things I understand but you know I
think it refined to a point where God said okay I want my word in the English language and now if you want a
translation out there just like New Testament he would have said okay I want my name my word in Greek Old Testament I
want my word in Hebrew if you want a translation of that then you go back to the Hebrew you go back to the Greek for
the whole Bible you go back to the English I believe that and you say but but a hug rather I can’t agree with you
it has to be the Greek in the Hebrew really what’s great in Hebrew
or perhaps that one in the middle there which one you say well the the the
Receptus go come on please it’s the Texas Receptus which edition see I mean
you’re not gonna you’re not going to do better than this King James Bible as far as the whole Bible is concerned it has
the fruit it’s been proven for centuries and centuries and centuries so I mean
you don’t have to reinvent the wheel here you know well we got to go back to the Receptus I mean we’re gonna make a
translation into the whatever language and things well okay you can look at the
Receptus type of readings and things but you know make sure it’s lined up with the King James Bible and if you have a
good you know Bible version in German okay line it up there I know that there was
another guy gomez I think his last name
was I can’t think of his first name but he did you know a translation in the Spanish language I don’t understand Spanish so you know I’ve heard some pros
and cons of the whole thing again that’s just over my head I don’t know but I
think if there’s nothing wrong at all with a brother coming out and saying hey I want to make sure that this ancient
Receptus type of Bible lines up with the readings in the King James Version because God is I obviously put his hand
of approval on the King James Bible I would never get to a point where I would
say that no other translation can be called God’s inspired Word only English
only King James Bible can be God’s perfect word I wouldn’t say that but
then I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it’s on the same level as you know heilige shrift it’s not the King James
Bible is produced by a superior committee it’s a it’s a superior Bible
to the Holika shrift how that gosh rift is fine it’s good but it’s never been
you know used of the Lord the way the King James Bible has been it’s were done the massive amount of revival
that the King James Bible has done so
kind of a complicated thing but you know that’s that’s how I would answer that question this ministry here will stand
If Youre Not English Speaking
with the King James Bible and if you are not english-speaking or if you’re living
in a country outside of America or England or Australia or any other english-speaking country then do your
best to find the translation that fits your native tongue and if you can’t find one pray about you know the Lord helping
you to write one you know if you’re gonna write a tract or something there’s
no sin at all and taking the Word of God and saying okay then spake the Lord to
Paul and the night by a vision be not afraid but speak and hold not thy peace Acts chapter 18 and verse 9 hmm how can
I write that in my own language and you don’t go through and say then spake the Lord to Paul and then I don’t like by a
vision I think what I would do is say then spake the Lord to Paul in the night
in a ecstatic dream or something you know no no no what is the word for
vision in your language you say we really don’t have one well could you could you convey it in some other way that would basically mean a vision oh
yeah it’s lit and whatever the word is okay then do that but you don’t change
it and say well I don’t like it he spoke to him in a vision I don’t know I don’t like that I’ll just say the Lord gave Paul a
really good thought or something no don’t do that again a story I read the one time of a missionary to Papua New
Guinea and way back years ago and this these missionaries came and they translated the Bible into a language
that these people could understand one of the tribes over there and these this tribe did not have any sheep there was
no sheep there all they had they raised pigs and so the these missionary
translators said we’re going to take instead of you know my sheep hear my voice will say my pigs hear my voice
because they see pigs they honor and what pigs are these heathen people have never understand every seen a sheep
they don’t wouldn’t understand it or whatever else you know I mean show him a picture you know what a what a thought
but or draw a picture for him but so they made this translation and they used
the word pig in place of sheep and one of the young men you know grew up and everything else and he wanted to go off
to seminary and be a pastor to his people and he goes off to some seminary whatever in America or you know and he
comes back to these missionaries and he says you lied to me huh what why didn’t
you tell us the word was sheep you said Pig it wasn’t a pig it was a sheep
totally changed the meaning of the scriptures well we didn’t think you’d understand when the native guy said
that’s not up to you the Lord will help us understand this word so that kind of illustrates my
point here this is I believe God’s perfect standard right here this King
James Bible no other book can claim the fruit that this thing has brought out no
other book has God’s hand of blessing on it I mean and again you say but I don’t agree you can you know the high like a
shrift here okay look at the error I showed you Isaiah 14 verse 12 that’s not
just a matter of difference of language and we said a little bit differently he’s causing a contradiction all right
because you go back to Revelation chapter 22 Jesus is the bright morning star so what do you do with that see
that was a bad translation on Luther’s part so you come along and you say well we’ll fix it here with a holic or the
doctor mm but it’s still you’re kind of saying you know if I mean correct me if I’m wrong you’re still kind of saying
the star here how about just saying loose Lucifer and again it’s not well
that’s just I prefer that reading in the King Jeep no it’s the right reading because if you say star it’s connecting
it to Jesus Christ thereby making Jesus Christ get kicked out of heaven because he tried to be God that’s a problem all
right so hopefully that’s answered your
Conclusion
question I do believe that the King James Bible is God’s perfect word for the english-speaking world but I think
that other language translations should be compared to the King James Version even ones that predate the King James
Version this one because you looked at Luther’s Bible and you say Isaiah 14:12
doesn’t doesn’t make it you look at other things in there too I’ve been told that also do not line up with the
perfection of the King James Bible it’s a refining process Luther meant well William Tyndale meant well Myles
Coverdale a lot of those guys meant well but it was one man and I don’t believe God’s gonna give his word to be
translated you know in its best form I don’t think he’s gonna give it to just one man to do because that man could
take the glory from that so
I guess that’s going to be it I don’t think I have anything else to say on
this subject what you know have a conversation on this whole thing you
know okay I just thought about something else I’m trying to think what all I need to get said in this one other thing I need to say and that is I do not believe
that you know the thing of inspiration
has to be a continual thing where God just continues to it needs to be
reinstalled and re-inspired andrey inspired andrey inspired i believe that once God says okay it’s finished I think
it’s finished and I don’t believe that this King James Bible I mean it went through some of the additions and
whatever else 1611 to 1769 you had spelling changes thought changes other
things like that where they went in I mean they you know their hands setting the type and you know pressing it and
had to be put backwards and everything else to little type little letters and incredibly difficult tasks to print
things back in 1611 so invariably a few little errors popped in there doesn’t
mean that that the text itself was wrong it’s just that they the printer made
some errors so they had to go back in and they had to proofread and oh okay we got to fix this we got to fix that and
whatever else then they made another addition another finally it ended in 1769 so you know I don’t believe there’s
another need in other words for we should update this no I don’t think so I
think that this is the Bible that’ll go the whole way through the time of Jacob’s trouble and again let’s just
think about this for a minute time of Jacob’s trouble who do you have over in Jerusalem you have Moses and Elijah what
are they going to be preaching say well about the King James Bible okay you mean to tell me all the Jews that
they’re going to preach to can understand English what if Moses and Elijah come back and
they’re preaching the King James Bible but translating it when they’re preaching it into Hebrew
see well the Bible doesn’t say I know that but let’s just use some common sense here they’re going to be preaching
something to the Jews over there in Israel you know and I realize that
there’s different you know modern type of things of Hebrew and older types of you know Hebrew and I know it’s it’s a
it’s a weird situation but again if God says only the King James Bible don’t you
dare translate it in any other language because then it becomes imperfect or something that’s problematic and
thinking that way but but you can’t then say well it’s just a translation like
any other one this is more than just a translation this is a very very special book here and I believe that anyone can
faithfully come along take this book and say I’m gonna translate this into my own language you get the the most pagan
people out there they learn English they can come along they can say I want to translate this into my people’s tongues
so that they don’t have to learn English to then understand God’s Word to bring it back into their own language see and
if there’s an old translation it’s already there you look at it you compare it to the King James Bible
hopefully I’ve proved my point now so
and then you know the New King James Version by the way it’s not a you know
Receptus type of a thing the New King James Version is based primarily on the majority text the combining of both
Alexandria and Antioch in texts so stay
away from the New King James Version again somebody you know that’s new to the issue they might get confused a little bit about the New King James
Version but it won’t take them long to realize it’s not the real Word of God so
that’s gonna be it good question and we’ll see you in the next video
