KJV Study On The Word “Church”: Part 1

Today we will be looking at every reference to the word “church” and “churches” in the King James Bible. You can turn in your King James Bible to the book of Matthew chapter 16. I was listening to some of my older sermons, and I’ve done quite a lot of sermons on church building; what is the word church mean and things like that. And I’ve noticed in almost every one that I’ve done, you can go through the Bible and look up every time the word “church” appears, you’ll see it is never in reference to a building and that sometime I would like to do a study on that.

Well, I’ve never done that. Until today.
