Okay, we are in Ephesians chapter six, the final chapter for our expository study. Open your Bible, your King James bible, to Ephesians chapter 1.
Right off the bat in verse 1, you will see there a command for children to obey their parents, and to honor their parents. But notice there’s a special little clause there in verse one, “children obey your parents in the Lord.” Now that has two applications to it. first of all, are they saved? I know there are a lot of young people here on youtube, you’re teenagers and things like that, and your parents aren’t saved; they’re lost, they’re not “in the lord.” So you have to be very careful as far as a thing of obedience to them as parents. There are certain things that ,yes, you can obey, you obey the rules of their home, as long as it’s in line with scripture, as long as they’re not telling you to do things that are contrary to the word of God…
