All right, Galatians chapter 3. Paul begins the chapter asking the foolish Galatians who bewitched them. What’s the purpose of somebody bewitching a Christian? To turn them away from the truth. And of course that happened in the first century. But it doesn’t happen anymore today, right? There’s no bewitchment going on. Wrong!
But let me ask you a question: is it possible for saved Christians to be bewitched?Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines bewitched as, “fascinated or charmed.” Have you ever been fascinated by a preacher? He really puts on a good performance, you know. It’s “fascinating” and he’s very “charming.” Hmm?
We hope you enjoy this expository study.
