Lazy Expository Preaching

I’m going to give you a little warning today about lazy expository preaching. I mentioned a little bit about this in one of my studies, but i think I really need to kick this thing a little bit harder.

A lot of people have been saying to me, “Brother Bryan, when are you going to start doing expository teaching, going verse by verse through entire books of the Bible?” Well I’ve done some of that, I’m not against it. But I’ve seen over the years that a lot of people that call themselves Christians, they’ll do this thing they call expository preaching and they’ll give 2 or 3 verses. That’s not expository preaching.
