God Loves A Cheerful Giver (2 Corinthians 9:7)
By Brother Bryan
if God loves a cheerful giver, then what would be the opposite of that?
God doesn’t think too highly of people that don’t give. As a ministry, you’re not supposed to say that there’s a “necessity” here or that we “require” giving. But you also don’t say there’s no giving required either; no giving expected. God expects Christians that are not in ministry to support those that are. It’s just that simple.
God wants to bless you. God wants to do things for you. Have you been giving to the Lord’s work? You say, “Well, no, I can’t afford to.” “I’m struggling.” “I don’t have a job.” “I don’t have this; I don’t have that.” Unfortunately, I’ve heard all of these excuses— and then some. Question: why would God bless you? Why would God love you and say, “Okay, I’m going to do great things for you” if you are not willing to bless others through your sacrificial giving?
