The Poor Widow’s Mites (Mark 12:41-44)

By Brother Bryan

This is one of the most abused portions of scripture uh by church buildings, the corporations out there that have no basis in scripture. And this scripture is abused by them to get to extract at least 10% of people’s income. And most people focus on that and they say, “Well, see, you don’t have to do this and whatever else.” And I certainly have preached against the whole modern church building system abusing this passage. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that the passage is there for a reason. The Lord is watching what you do with the money that he gives you.
