Tischendorf’s Turbo Charged Camels!

One of the best ways to catch a con-man, is to look closely at the details of his story. In Constantine Tischendorf’s book, he gives some very contradictory details about his trips between Cairo and Saint Catherine’s Monastery on the Sinai Peninsula. He states that the trip took 6 days by camel to go one way. Later he claims that a man did a round trip in just 9 days, yet the dates he gives add up to 11 days. Clearly Tischendorf was either lying, or very confused.
